SOCA Designs is the practice of Stephanie Oca, its founder and creative director, who works at every scale of a place. Her ambition reaches further still, toward a practice that shapes not only spaces but the experiences, systems, and stories within them, across hospitality, wellness, and the destinations ahead.

The opposite of anywhere.
Much of what passes for luxury could be lifted from one city and set down in the next — the same stone, the same palette, the same lobby. SOCA Designs works from the opposite belief: that a place should feel as though it could exist nowhere else.
Stephanie Oca designs across the whole of a place — the interior architecture, the furniture and fixtures within it, and the way a guest moves through it — as one continuous idea, not a set of parts passed between specialists.
That range is earned: interior architecture at Gensler; custom FF&E and collections developed with hospitality manufacturers; guest-suite prototypes and showroom environments; ballrooms, villas, and spas across the desert, the coast, and the islands.
The through-line is restraint — natural materials chosen for how they age, biophilic principles meant to quiet a room rather than decorate it, comfort treated as a form of luxury rather than an afterthought to it.
Beneath the work is a longer ambition: that design can honor culture, strengthen community, and leave a place better than it was found — from a boutique hotel today to furniture collections, artisan collaborations, and regenerative ground of her own in the years ahead.

Every project begins in observation — reading the land, the architecture, the culture, and the purpose a place must serve. From there the work reveals what belongs, shapes it into one coherent whole, coordinates the many hands that build it, and stewards the original intention all the way through installation, until the finished place matches the one that was promised.
